After completing a postgraduate diploma in photojournalism at the London College of Communication (formerly London College of Printing) in 2001, I have worked extensively from the African Continent. I am based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I am a Reuters stringer signed with Getty, Polaris (US) and AMO (Africa Media Online).

I have been published in the New York Times, Independent (UK), Observer (UK), Grazia, Essence Magazine (US) amongst many others mostly published and commissioned through agencies.

I have received an Honourable Mention at the Prix de la Photographie Awards (2009) for photographs taken during the Kenyan Election Upheaval (2008) and Merit Awards at the International Aperture Awards (2010) in recognition of Excellence in Photojournalism for work undertaken during the FIFA World Cup 2010 and in conjunction with UN-OCHA Somalia.
